“Moon Knight” is the first Marvel series in 2022.
Before watching, there are some things that you can understand first.
Several episodes that aired last year featured characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the past as the protagonists, and then introduced some other new characters.
But “Moon Knight”‘s protagonist, “Moon Knight” Marc Spector, is a new face for the first time.
The role is played by Oscar Isaac, who previously played “Apocalypse” in “X-Men: Apocalypse”.
As previously reported, “Moon Knight” will be Marvel’s first exploration of supernatural creatures.
At the same time, it is also one of the darkest, cruelest and terrifying works of Marvel.
Now Disney+ streaming in the UK has been set for 16+ to be allowed to watch.
The previous episodes are all related to the current Marvel Cinematic Universe.
But according to “Moon Knight” executive producer Grant Curtis, the series won’t be tied to the current Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This is a very independent work, and the protagonist is about to embark on a whole new adventure.
Moon Knight, formerly known as Marc Spector, is a mercenary in the comics.
He was seriously injured while performing a mission, and he was resurrected by Luna on the verge of death.
Since then, he has embarked on the road of Moon Knight, and then joined superhero teams such as the Avengers.
From the previous trailers, Steven Grant seems to be the main character, and the audience will follow the angle of this character to enter the show.
The poster below corresponds to three personalities: the common man Steven Grant, Mr. Knight and Moon Knight.
As for how much the comics will be adapted in the episode, it remains to be seen.
According to The Cosmic Circus, the details of Moon Knight’s superpowers could be as follows: “Increases Moon Knight’s strength, resistance, and responsiveness to enemy attacks based on the phase of the moon.”
This is similar to the comics, where Moon Knight’s strength and agility depend on the phases of the moon.
But Moon Knight in this episode has one more skill, that is, predicting the future.
Where there are heroes, there are villains.
The show’s villain, Arthur Harrow, will be played by Ethan Hawke, basically a cult leader.
He would show his scary and disturbing side, but at the same time feel his kindness and tenderness.
Another thing that stands out about Harrow is that he’s not the traditional villain in the name of fist-wielding, or titular.
“Moon Knight” has six episodes, so stay tuned!
