Netizens ask J. K. Rowling how she sleeps, and she responds: more income can offset the pain

As we reported, J. K. Rowling was once embroiled in a transgender controversy over certain comments. Someone questioned her on Twitter: How do you sleep at night when you’ve lost so many fans?

To which she replied blandly: I looked at the royalty checks I had recently received and the pain immediately went away.

Under this tweet, netizens have also expressed their resistance to it: you have hurt the hearts of your fans, and now you only care about money, can you live with your conscience?
