“Batman Begins” screenwriter David Goyer praised the team of Matt Reeves’ version of “The Batman” for crafting a dark story and focusing on Bruce Wayne’s detective abilities.
“I think Matt Reeves is a very good director,” Goyer claimed. “I don’t know what I would think of Robert Pattinson, but I like him. And that’s why I trust him. He has a different understanding of the character, and I bought into that.”
“I also thought he and zoë kravitz had great chemistry. I liked the brutality of the film, I liked their perspective from the detective’s point of view and how they portrayed The Riddler. I loved the film.”
Goyer likens watching the different “Batman” films to reading different comics, each one offering something new.
