As the preferred car of James Bond in the “007” series of movies, Aston Martin with “pure British blood” has attracted the attention of countless fans.
And recently, the Aston Martin DB5 sports car collected by the late “Original 007” actor Thomas Sean Connery will be auctioned, and fans will have the opportunity to pocket it.
The car was given to Broad Arrow Auctions for auction.
Although this lot has never been used in the “007” series of films, its surviving value is still the same as it was in those days – the estimated value is as high as 1.4-1.8 million US dollars.
From an exterior standpoint alone, this Aston Martin DB5 is elegant.
Even though multiple actors throughout history have played the role of James Bond and driven dozens of expensive cars, the DB5 has always held a front-row seat in the hearts of moviegoers.
Although the car was owned by Thomas Sean Connery, he was not the first owner. It was purchased and treasured in 1964 by Mr. A. White, who lives in England.
It wasn’t until Connery bought it in 2018 after a long search. In the follow-up restoration work, he also carefully repainted the car in the original Snow Gray color scheme from the “Goldfinger” film.
Sadly, Thomas Sean Connery didn’t get a chance to travel in it, he was in very bad shape at the time.
And Mr. Connery also passed away unfortunately on October 31, 2020. Perhaps the only gratifying thing is that this car accompanied the last period of his life.
