Recently, according to IGN reports, well-known actor Oscar Isaac (Moon Knight) in an interview to return to the ‘Star Wars’ (as Poe Dameron) series of films open attitude, he said he is ready to fly the X-wing fighter again.
The ‘Star Wars’ trilogy began with ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ along with ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ and ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’, which earned more than 4.4 billion dollars at the box office, but the response has been mixed.
Especially for the last movie, Isaac has joked that he would only be willing to return if he was desperate for money or if his house was burned down.
The actors playing Fionn (John Boyega) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) in ‘Star Wars’ have also publicly expressed disinterest in returning.
“I’m open to any good story, and we can never predict what’s going to happen. For me, time presents a lot of challenges because we all get older and have to get married and have kids and face the minutiae of life. But if there’s a good script and director, or when Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy says to me ‘I have a great idea,’ then I’m very open to it.”
Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron is the ace pilot of Resistance in ‘Star Wars’. As the ‘Black Leader’, he leads the ‘Black Squadron’ of T-70 X-wing fighters against the First Order.
