Singer, actor and pop icon Aaron Carter has died at the age of 34.
Lancaster County, California police confirmed to TMZ that officers responded to a 911 call this Saturday morning local time and arrived at Carter’s home to find him drowned in the bathtub.
The detective in charge of the murder has been dispatched to the scene, but this is standard procedure and there is no evidence that this case is a murder at this time.
Aaron is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, who released his debut solo album at the age of 9. He has since become a resident singer and actor on Nick’s Kids Channel, and has appeared in movies and series, and was once a popular youth icon.
Aaron has released a total of four studio albums, turned to rapping later in life, and has also appeared on reality shows such as ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and starred in the family reality show ‘House of Carters’ with his siblings.
