Zack Estrin, executive producer of ‘Prison Break’ and operator of the drama version of ‘Lost in Space’, has died at the age of 51.
He was said to be in good health, and on the 23rd of this month, he died suddenly while jogging at Hermosa Beach in Los Angeles, suspected to be due to cardiac arrest.
Estrin’s family released a statement confirming his death, saying they loved him dearly and thanked the public for their concern.
Estrin was a veteran showrunner and producer whose credits include ‘Charmed’, ‘Dawson’s Creek’, ‘Mystic River’ and ‘The Whispers’, among others.
Before his sudden death, he also had new projects in development with Netflix on his hands.
