“Stranger Things Season 4” is about to air, but the “Stranger Things”-themed Monopoly Toys spoils some important episodes of “Stranger Things Season 4” during this critical period.
According to “The Hollywood Reporter”, series creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer weren’t happy about it.
Although the Duffer brothers have reportedly put a lot of marketing into their wildly successful Netflix series.
But at this point the show is too big for them to see everything, and the game appears to have leaked, causing the brothers to “completely crash”.
The toy and board game industry, which doesn’t develop at the same pace as the film and TV industry, has been a source of spoilers more than once in recent years, frustrating creators and fans alike.

THR noted that Jon Favreau had worked hard to protect Grogu, also known as Baby Yoda, from spoilers, which led to toys related to the popular character appearing months after the show aired.
Discrepancies in pacing and inventory schedules have also eased during the pandemic, when toys associated with things like “Ghostbusters” and Marvel Cinematic Universe movies hit stores months before their films.
A post on a Reddit forum said the owner of the leaked “Stranger Things” Monopoly bought it “fairly and equitably” at a “nationally recognized retailer.”
That means it wasn’t stolen from the shipping box or the test kit, but bought straight from the store.
However, these details remain unconfirmed.
