“Kingsman” Taron Edgerton recently revealed in the New York Times interview: he has been with Marvel executives, including Marvel Studios Chairman Kevin Feige to discuss the Wolverine, he hopes to replace Hugh Jackman, who has retired from the role, into the MCU to play Wolverine.
Marvel Studios has yet to make a decision on the prospect of Wolverine and a possible replacement, and Edgerton said he understands that playing the role is a heavy burden: “I think it’s right to say that: I’ll be excited, but I’ll also have concerns because Hugh has a strong connection to the character, and I’ll think: another person to play it will be difficult, right? But I hope they’ll give me a chance if this is really promising.”
