This year marks the twentieth anniversary of the release of the old Spider-Man, and Tobey Maguire shares behind-the-scenes tidbits.
He “almost choked” while filming the classic “Kiss in the Rain”.
“It was really tough,” Tobey said. “The rain was running down my nose…and Kirsten pulled the mask down, just so it was pressing down on my nose and locking in the air, and I couldn’t breathe. …then she kissed me and gagged my mouth, I really had no other way to breathe.”
