Valkyrie will get new abilities in “Thor: Love and Thunder”!
In a conversation with W Magazine, actor Tessa Thompson talked about the evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
She explained that Valkyrie’s powers would go in a strange direction, and she could take people into the afterlife and bring them back to life if necessary.
“Honestly, she’s got some weird skills. She can sense when someone is about to die and bring them into Walhalla, the afterlife.”

“She can also bring people back to life. But when she brings people back to life, she sometimes gets into their bodies. It feels weird.”
“…She possesses superhuman powers and is essentially a god.”
Change has always been a theme throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Valkyrie in “Thor: Love and Thunder” is no exception, not to mention she’s now queen.

In an interview with The Playlist last year, Tessa Thompson said, “When we see her again, she’s the new queen of Asgard.”
“Like the previous films, she is part of a Thor-related adventure, and this film is Thor 4.”
“I would say there’s going to be some cool stuff going on, we’ll have new characters, maybe some people from elsewhere in the MCU, and some people we’ve met before.”
“Thor: Love and Thunder” opens in North America on July 8.
