Warner CEO talks about the sequel of “Dune”: You will know after watching the movie

On October 22, the first day of “Dune” was released, news about the sequel was revealed again.

Warner Media head Ann Sarnoff hinted in an interview that “Dune” will have a sequel, “If you see the end of the movie, you should know if there will be a sequel.”

This answer basically confirms the existence of the “Dune” sequel.

Because “Dune” was originally planned to be adapted into two parts, the first part is only half of the story.

The director Denis Villeneuve also talked about the topic of the sequel many times in the interview before, and said that the script creation of the sequel has already begun.

During the connection at the Venice Film Festival, Denis Villeneuve said: I did only make half of the film. This is crazy. It’s like drawing only half of a picture and playing a symphony only half of it. But some movies are expensive, so I agree to do the first half first. This is also a “gambling game.”

He also revealed that the sequel is expected to feature Chani, the Fremann character played by Zendaya, and the story revolves around her.
