“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will introduce plenty of classic heroes and villains, and recently “Deadpool” author Rob Liefeld hinted that Wolverine is expected to return in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”!
Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld retweeted an image that also hinted at a possible Wolverine appearance in the film.
ComicBook’s Jim Viscardi today released a live-action Wolverine suit from the “Wolverine 2” easter egg, along with three “shocking” emojis that seem to imply he has learned something about Wolverine.
And this suit is actually the classic black and yellow color matching suit that appeared in “Wolverine 2”.

In the easter egg, Xuexu handed the battle suit to Logan as a parting gift for him. Wolverine looked at the battle suit and smiled thoughtfully, as if he was about to put on the battle suit and kill the Quartet in the next episode.
However, in fact, it was a pity for fans that Wolverine did not wear the classic suits in the comics until Wolverine retired.
And interestingly, shortly after the tweet was posted, Rob Liefeld retweeted the tweet with the text: “So, what day is May 5th?”
It’s worth noting that May 5 is the day before the world premiere of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, and the movie’s premiere will also begin in the early hours of the evening, which is likely a hint.
Known for his fondness for spoilers and meddling, Rob Liefeld has long been a staunch fan of Marvel’s work and the most acerbic, praising the MCU’s story and answering fans’ questions.
But at the same time, he often took the lead in angering Marvel for disrespecting the original comics, especially when Disney acquired Fox, he directly shouted online that Disney would destroy the “Deadpool” movie.
Nonetheless, Rob Liefeld does get some inside information quite often, and if he’s hinting at Wolverine’s return to “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” as we’ve analyzed, that would be an unexpected good news.
Of course, it’s also possible that Rob is just talking about it purely, and the answer will not be revealed until “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is released on May 6th.
