On September 9, local time, the film “Dear Evan Hansen” premiered at the 46th Toronto Film Festival.
Director Stephen Chbosky appeared with starring Ben Platt, Julianne Moore, Amandla Stenberg and Cameron Bailey.
Julianne Moore, 60, wears a long silver glitter skirt with a black suit jacket, intellectually elegant.
On the red carpet, she took a close photo with the director, and generously accepted media interviews.
“Dear Evan Hansen” is adapted from the musical of the same name. It tells that Hansen, a high school boy, was tortured by social fear and his classmate committed suicide.
Classmates and family mistakenly regarded a letter from Hansen as their child’s suicide note, and Hansen accidentally fell into a lie.
