The US remake of the hit Swedish comedy “A Man Called Ove” is set for release in North America on December 25.
Titled “A Man Called Otto”, the film stars Tom Hanks, directed by Marc Forster (“World War Z” “The Kite Runner” “Finding Neverland”), and written by David Magee (“Life of Pi”).
Based on Fredrik Backman’s hit novel of the same name, “A Man Called Otto” tells the story of Otto, a strict, grumpy widower who makes his neighbors obey his firm rules.
But when Otto decides to end his life one day, he forms new friendships with his neighbors, prompting him to undergo a transformation.
