Aaron Pierre (“The Underground Railroad” “Krypton”) joins Marvel’s new film “Blade” in an undisclosed role.
The film stars Mahershala Ali as Blade, which also stars Delroy Lindo, and is directed by Bassam Tariq (“Mogul Mowgli” “Ghosts of Sugar Land”) and written by Stacy Osei-Kuffour (“Watchmen” “PEN15” “Hunters”).
In the comics, Blade’s real name is Eric Brooks, he is half human, half vampire, and is a vampire hunter.
Eric Brooks wants to avenge his mother, who was killed by vampires while giving birth to him, by getting rid of the vampires.
Blade has far more than ordinary people’s strength, speed, senses, stamina and fast healing ability, proficient in a variety of fighting techniques, is a martial arts master and weapon and ammunition expert.
Wesley Snipes starred in three “Blade” films from 1998-2004, created by David S. Goyer.
