The comic ‘BRZRKR’, written by Keanu Reeves himself, will be remade into a movie, and it was announced at SDCC 2022 that ‘The Batman’ writer Mattson Tomlin will be in charge of the script, with the film’s schedule to be determined.
Mattson Tomlin said the script was inspired by movies such as ‘The Matrix’, ‘The Fountain’ and ‘The Tree of Life’. In addition, the animated episodic version of the comic will be online on Netflix, with a total of two seasons.
BRZRKR’ is a collaboration between Keanu and comic book artist Alessandro Vitti, published in October 2020. The main character is based on Keanu himself, like a combination of John Wick from the movie ‘John Wick’ and ‘The Old Guard’ starring Theron. The story of an immortal man who has wandered for centuries and is recruited by the U.S. government to carry out highly classified missions.
