Alicia Vikander will replace Michelle Williams in the psychological thriller “Firebrand”.
The film, starring Jude Law, focuses on Catherine Parr, Queen of England, the last of the six wives of King Henry VIII of England, Queen of England from 1543 to 1547, and then Queen Mother of England.
She is also the most married queen of England, with four husbands.
Karim Ainouz (“Invisible Life” “Futuro Beach”) directed, Jessica Ashworth & Henrietta Ashworth (“Killing Eve” “Tell It to the Bees”) wrote the script.
Based on Elizabeth Fremantle’s best-selling historical novel “Queen’s Gambit”, it is a portrayal of marriage and survival.
