The leading poster of the new film “Madres paralelas” directed by Pedro Almodovar and starring Penélope Cruz is released.
The film will be the opening film of the 78th Venice Film Festival (at the same time shortlisted for the main competition) and the closing film of the New York Film Festival.
The film revolves around the parallel trajectory of two women giving birth on the same day.
Focus on the life world of contemporary Madrid mothers and the first and second years of these mothers giving birth.
“Madres paralelas” will be released in Spain on September 10 and in North America on December 24.
