The official trailer for the series “Pachinko” produced by Apple TV+ has been revealed.
Directed by Kogonada and Justin Chon, and starring Yeo-jeong Yoon, Min-ho Lee, Minha Kim, etc., the play is adapted from the novel of the same name by Korean-American writer Min Jin Lee.
Focusing on the hopes and dreams of four generations of a Korean-American immigrant family, the story begins with a forbidden love story and develops into a long epic that spans Korea, Japan and the United States.
The book was named one of the ten best books of 2017 by “The New York Times” and was a finalist for the National Book Award.
The theme of the episode is “War and Peace, Love and Loss” and is available in three languages: Korean, Japanese and English.
“Pachinko” will start airing on March 25.
