The new Apple film ‘Raymond and Ray’ starring Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke has revealed stills and it will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival with the two playing brothers.
‘Raymond and Ray’ is written and directed by Rodrigo García (“Albert Nobbs””in treatment”), Alfonso Cuarón(“Gravity””Roma”), Bonnie Curtis(“Saving Private Ryan””Minority Report”), Julie Lynn (“Nine Lives””Passengers”) served as producer.
The film follows two half-brothers, Raymond (McGregor) and Ray (Hawke), who live in the shadow of their horrible father and somehow still have a sense of humor, and whose funeral is their chance to reinvent themselves. There’s anger, there’s pain, there’s stupidity, there’s maybe love, and there’s certainly burial.
