The Cannes Film Festival has officially confirmed that the new biopic “Elvis” directed by Baz Luhrmann (“Moulin Rouge” “The Great Gatsby”) will make its world premiere at this year’s Cannes.

“Elvis” stars Austin Butler, Tom Hanks, and Olivia DeJonge will be present, and new stills will be exposed.

The film will be released in North America on June 24. Butler plays legendary singer Elvis Presley Elvis Presley, Hanks plays his manager Tom Parker, David Wenham, Luke Bracey, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Dacre Montgomery, Natasha Bassett, etc. act.

Produced by Luhrmann and his wife Catherine Martin, who have been developing “The Great Gatsby” since 2013.

Written by Luhrmann and longtime partner Craig Pearce, the film recounts the rise and heyday of Elvis Presley, and the film focuses on the more than 20-year relationship between Elvis Presley and Parker.
