Benedict Cumberbatch’s new work plan has been revealed.
It is reported that the British actor will work with Paul Greengrass, who has filmed “The Bourne Identity” series and “Captain Phillips”, in a film about the British peasant uprising.
Currently, the film is titled “The Hood”.
In the film, Benedict Cumberbatch will play a farmer who gradually becomes a leader in the peasant movement.
It is reported that the style of the film will be a mix of “Gladiator” and “Braveheart”.
British director Paul Greengrass is one of the most personal directors in the international film industry today, and the film has a unique documentary style.
He used to be a journalist and published a highly controversial book about espionage.
In 2002, “Bloody Sunday” was launched, which garnered a lot of acclaim for its approach to photojournalism.
In 2004, he filmed “The Bourne Supremacy”, which continued the success of the previous work with his own realistic style, and received a higher evaluation.
“The Hood” is raising funds for filming and has no release schedule.
