According to IGN news, Tenoch Huerta, the actor of Namor in ‘Black Panther : Wakanda Forever’, did not know how to swim before appearing in the movie.
In an interview with the media, the 41-year-old actor revealed that although his role as Namor as the leader of Atlantis, he himself did not know how to swim before.
“They asked if I could swim, and I said I’d never been ‘drowned’ before.” Huerta said to that he did not explicitly tell Comic-Con that he could not swim.
“I didn’t say anything at the time, otherwise they wouldn’t have given me the role. Later I had to use explain to them through my lawyer that that’s how we Mexicans are, we never say ‘no’.”
‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ is a sequel to ‘Black Panther’, which tells the story of Black Panther after his death, and will be released in Northern America on November 11.
