The 75th Cannes Film Festival Short Film Competition announced the shortlist, two short films by Chinese filmmakers were shortlisted!
They are “A Short Story” directed by Gan Bi and starring Zhuo Tan and “The Water Murmurs” directed by Story Chen and starring Annabel Yao.
“A Short Story” tells the fantastic journey of a black cat.

“The Water Murmurs” tells the story of a young girl in a small town who has the idea of escape and begins to think about other possibilities of life when she is relocated.
