After more than a month in theaters, the biopic ‘Elvis’ has continued to gain traction, grossing $5.83 million in Northern America and $6.2 million in overseas markets last week. This brings the film’s worldwide total to $234.3 million, placing it in the top 10 of Northern America’s all-time live-action biopic box office chart.
Starring Austin Butler, Tom Hanks and Maggie Gyllenhaal, the film revolves around the 20 years from Elvis Presley’s rise to his prime, focusing on the relationship between Elvis Presley and music manager Parker (Tom Hanks).
‘Elvis’ was released on June 24.
