After joining the “John Wick” prequel series “The Continental”, Mel Gibson signed with David Clayton Henrie’s fantasy adventure film “Boys of Summer”.
Mel Gibson will play a detective who hunts down supernatural creatures in the film.
“Boys of Summer” tells the story of a boy (Mason Thames) on Martha’s Vineyard, after his best friend mysteriously disappeared, he began to suspect that there might be strange forces hunting down local children.
With the help of an elderly detective (Mel Gibson), they soon discover that a witch has recently retreated to their island.
“Boys of Summer” will be filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina in December of this year. The release date of the film is undetermined.
