According to media reports, famous filmmaker Brad Pitt has another new film project revealed. It is reported that he will work with Apple on an untitled F1-themed racing movie.
Brad Pitt will star in and produce the film, which will be directed by Joseph Kosinski. In addition to Kosinski, seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton is producing with Pitt’s Plan B.
Founded in 2001, Plan B focuses on film and television development, with a focus on tapping Nova talent rather than commercial considerations.
The company has been involved in a number of Oscar-winning films, including “The Departed”, “12 Years a Slave” and “Moonlight”.
In addition, the most interesting aspect of the film is the way it was released.
In previous years, Apple’s films have only been released for a short period of time, but this film is scheduled to be released in theaters worldwide for at least 30 days (maybe even 60 days) before going online on Apple TV+. And this is widely seen by the industry as a sign that Apple wants to compete in theaters.
