“Empire”: I love “Broker”, the typical Hirokazu Koreeda film with laughter and tears, another strange and tender family, but this one is more complex, exploring topics of forgiveness, responsibility, choice, and most importantly It’s a woman’s choice that never feels right no matter what you do, something that a master can master correctly.

“The Irish Times”: The plot is too full, and Hirokazu Koreeda has done the “Odd Family” story before. But “Broker” is still a pleasant melodrama in a low key, with a brutally moving ending.
