Apple has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to the new film “Cha Cha Real Smooth,” starring Dakota Johnson and Cooper Raiff (“Sydney White”), in a deal worth about $15 million.
“Cha Cha Real Smooth” just premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and it was well received.
“Cha Cha Real Smooth” was written and directed by Raiff and stars a New Jersey college graduate with no direction.
He works in a bar, throws mitzvah parties for his brother’s classmates, and develops a friendship with a young mother (Dakota Johnson) and her autistic daughter.
Leslie Mann, Raúl Castillo, Odeya Rush, Brad Garrett and more also star.
