Channing Tatum will adapt his children’s book “The One and Only Sparkella” into a film, starring and producing himself, with Pamela Ribon (“Ralph Breaks the Internet” “Moana”) writing and MGM producing.
Published last May, the book focuses on a father and daughter’s journey in search of love and self-esteem. Little girl Ella gets a love lesson from her dad after changing her sparkling personal style thanks to comments from other kids at school – – No matter what, accept your true self.
The three books in the series are inspired by the lives of Tatum and his daughter, with the second book “The One and Only Sparkella Makes a Plan” set for release on May 31st.
