According to media reports, Charlize Theron revealed in a new interview that the script for the sequel to the Netflix fantasy action film “The Old Guard” she starred in has been completed.
Shooting is scheduled to start in the first quarter of next year, and Marwan Kenzari and Luca Marinelli, who play gay couples in the film, will return.
“The Old Guard” was launched on July 10 last year. It is adapted from the comic of the same name created by Greg Rucka and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (“Shots Fired”).
“The Old Guard” tells that the woman Andy is an immortal and tough warrior “Andromache”, who has “dead” hundreds of times and is reborn with a different identity.
Andy and her immortal army have guarded the human world for hundreds of years, but now in this age of advanced technology, it is becoming more and more difficult to hide your identity.
As the existence of the legion is made public, Andy and the newcomer Nile and others must take action against the authorities who want to copy the immortal’s abilities and realize profit.
