Christian Bale starring in the new Netflix gothic horror suspense film ‘The Pale Blue Eye’ released the first stills. The twilight is eerie and grim, and Bale is carrying a dim light.
‘The Pale Blue Eye’ is scheduled for a limited theatrical release in Northern America on December 23rd and online on Netflix on January 6th of next year.
The film is directed by Scott Cooper (‘Out of the Furnace’ ‘Crazy Heart’) and features Harry Melling, Gillian Anderson, Lucy Boynton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Toby Jones, Simon McBurney, Timothy Spall, Robert Duvall and others also starred.
The story is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Louis Bayard, about 1830, an experienced detective (Bale) is responsible for solving a series of murders that occurred at the United States Military Academy at West Point, he teamed up with a detail-oriented cadet, who later became a world-renowned celebrity Allan Poe (Melling).
