Famous live-action “Wednesday” actor Christina Ricci will surprise fans with “Wednesday,” the Netflix single-person spinoff of “The Addams Family.”
And Ricci will play a resident character, with a lot of roles, but a new character, not the adult version of Wednesday, who is still secret.

Directed by Tim Burton, it is Burton’s debut as a series director, written by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar (“Smallville” “I Am Number Four” “Spider-Man 2”), with a total of 8 episodes.
Jenna Ortega (“Yes Day” “The Babysitter: Killer Queen”) will play Wednesday, Catherine Zeta-Jones will play the Addams Family mistress Morticia, and Luis Guzmán will play the male mistress Gomez.
Telling the story of Wednesday Addams’ time at Nevermore College, full of detective, supernatural mysteries.
Here she tries to master her burgeoning psychic abilities, foil a brutal killing spree that sent the local town into panic, and unravel the supernatural mysteries that plagued her parents 25 years ago.
At the same time, she is navigating new, intricate relationships.
