Michelle Yeoh became the first Asian to receive an honorary degree from the American Film Institute (AFI) when she was photographed receiving her honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree.
She says it makes her mom the happiest mom in the world, and she now finally recognizes herself as an adult with a decent job who can go around and tell people, “My daughter is a doctor.”
Earlier this month (August 1), Michelle Yeoh starring in the hit film ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ has surpassed $100 million at the worldwide box office, with $68.9 million in Northern America and $31.1 million outside of Northern America.
It is also the first A24 film to break $100 million at the global box office.
