D.B. Weiss and David Benioff are filming ‘The Three-Body Problem’ in London, they confirm they’re not working on ‘House of the Dragon’

“Game of Thrones” producers D.B. Weiss and David Benioff recently told “Entertainment Weekly” that they were not involved in the production of “House of the Dragon” and are currently filming “The Three-Body Problem” in London.

DB Weiss and David Benioff were interviewed by the press to promote their new Netflix film “Metal Lords” as producers. When asked if they were involved in the production of “House of the Dragon”, the prequel to HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, they shook their heads and said: “Our lives and work have revolved around ‘Game of Thrones’ for too long, and we’ve been busy with it for 11 years. It’s time to let go and experience the excitement and fear of making something new.”

“”The three body problem” is a sci-fi drama that is drawn on a huge canvas of space and time, and has the same special effects shots as “Game of Thrones”, but the production mode is different from “Game of Thrones” , with different levels of difficulty.”

Earlier, Netflix’s “The three body problem” English-language series has confirmed that the navigation episode will be directed by “Better Days” director Derek Tsang, with D.B. Weiss and David Benioff serving as producers.

The first 12 cast members include: Benedict Wong, Eiza González, Tsai Chin, Jovan Adepo, John C. Bradley, Liam Cunningham, Marlo Kelly, Alex Sharp, Saamer Usmani, Jess Hong, Sea Shimooka, Zine Tseng.

The play is adapted from the science fiction novel of the same name by Cixin Liu. Cixin Liu and Ken Liu, the English translator of the original novel, serve as production consultants. The launch time is to be determined.
