Damien Chazelle directs the deluxe cast of the new film ‘Babylon’ scheduled to go live on Paramount+ on February 21.
The film has landed on video-on-demand and was released in theaters last Christmas with poor word-of-mouth and box office, accumulating 15.35 million for Northern America and 41 million outside of Northern America, for a total of 56.35 million worldwide and a production cost of 80 million.
The ‘Babylon’ cast includes Brad Pitt, Diego Calva, Margot Robbie, Li Jun Li, Tobey Maguire, Jovan Adepo, Katherine Waterston, Max Minghella, Olivia Wilde, Spike Jonze, Phoebe Tonkin, Samara Weaving, Flea, Rory Scovel, Lukas Haas, Eric Roberts, P.J. Byrne, Damon Gupton, and more.
Rated R, the film focuses on the early years of Hollywood in the 1920s, a period of transition from silent to talkies, filled with people chasing fame, fortune and power, portraying the rise and fall of multiple characters and a life of ambition, wild unrestraint and total loss of control.
