DC’s new film ‘Batgirl‎’ was canceled by Warner Bros., it said that the preview response was not very good

The new DC film ‘Batgirl‎’ was cancelled for distribution by Warner and will not be in theaters or streaming, which means it was shot but will not come out.

‘Batgirl’ was scheduled to go live on HBO Max at the end of this year, with a production cost of $90 million and a reportedly less-than-impressive pilot response.

Industry insiders say that with Warner Bros. exploring a new strategy, it no longer makes sense to make high-budget movies directly for streaming, saying that the ‘Batgirl’ film lacks the pomp and circumstance of a DC movie that Warner Bros. exploring wants.

‘Batgirl’ stars Leslie Grace as Barbara Gordon, Michael Keaton returns as Batman, J.K. Simmons returns as Commissioner Gordon’s father, Brendan Fraser as the villain Firefly, Jacob Scipio (‘Bad Boys for Life’) also stars, and transgender actress Ivory Aquino plays Barbara’s best friend, bartender Alysia Yeoh, and is the first transgender character in a DC live-action film.

‘Batgirl‎’ is directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah (“Bad Boys for Life”), with a screenplay by Christina Hodson (“Bumblebee” “Birds of Prey”).

Multiple characters in the comic with the title Batgirl, the most famous is Barbara , she does not have superpowers, good at fighting, but also a computer master, and Batman like a variety of cool auxiliary equipment.
