DC’s new superhero movie “Blue Beetle” is wrapped, and many creators have posted to celebrate

DC comic book superhero new film ‘Blue Beetle’ shooting closed, a number of creators shared the news.

Xolo Maridueña (‘Cobra Kai’) stars in “Blue Beetle”, Jaime Reyes, Bruna Marquezine (‘Helena’s Shadow’) and others, with Gareth Dunnet- Alcocer (‘Miss Bala’) wrote the screenplay, has been scheduled for August 18, 2023 Northern America release.

The film’s director, Angel Manuel Soto, is from Puerto Rico, and in 2020, his film ‘Charm City Kings’ was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance. It was because of the success of this film that he was offered the contract for ‘Blue Beetle’.

The film is the first Latino as the main character of the DC superhero blockbuster, focusing on three generations of Blue Beetle Reyes , who is a Mexican-American teenager living in the U.S. state of Texas.

After Shazam was killed, Khaji Da landed in El Paso, Texas, and was picked up by teenager Reyes. Later, Khaji Da fused into Reyes’ spine while he was sleeping, and Reyes became the third generation of Blue Beetle from then on, at which point Blue Beetle had the ability to change weapons at will.

Blue Beetle can fly, has enhanced strength and stamina, and can translate alien languages.
