As the highly anticipated sequel, “Dune 2” has revealed new developments. According to director Denis Villeneuve, in this sequel, the story of the Harkonnen family will be amplified, and the story of the entire desert planet Arrakis will enter a new phase.
Denis Villeneuve said: “It’s like a board game, and some new actors will be introduced to the film. The first film is about Paul Atreides, but this second film will focus on Harkonnen’s name. Next. I’m working with the original team, and the film will be more challenging. We know what to do and how to present it. Now that the script is written, I feel confident.”
“Dune” is based on the Hugo and Nebula award-winning works of the same name, and its status is comparable to “The Lord of the Rings”.
