A few days ago, Apple officials announced a new thriller series “Disclaimer” plan.
“Disclaimer” is written and directed by the famous director Alfonso Cuarón, starring Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline.
Based on the novel of the same name by Renee Knight, Cate Blanchett plays a successful and respected TV documentary journalist.
She is committed to exposing some of the obscured cross-border behaviors of prestigious institutions.
And one day she started to read a fascinating novel by a widower (played by Kevin Kline) as a bedside story, and was frightened by it.
She finds that she is the key character written in the story, and the content of the novel is a past that she hopes to bury.
It is reported that Alfonso Cuarón and Cate Blanchett will jointly serve as the executive producer of “Disclaimer”.
Emmanuel Lubezki, Alfonso Cuarón’s old partner, joined Bruno Delbonnel as the photographer for the show.
