The new live-action version of Jules Verne’s classic sci-fi novel “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” – Disney+’s new series “Nautilus” has officially announced the start of filming.
Filmed in Australia, the 10-episode series will tell the origin story of Captain Nemo and his legendary submarine Nautilus.
Shazad Latif (“Star Trek: USS PAN”) plays Nemo, an Indian prince. Deprived of his rights and family, he became a prisoner of the East India Company, and he wanted to avenge the forces that took everything from him.
After that, he embarked on a voyage to discover the magical underwater world while resisting the enemy.
