Disney’s streaming media platform Disney+ will create a series of 6 episodes of “Kaiser Karl” focusing on the legendary costume designer Karl Lagerfeld.
“Kaiser Karl” is adapted from the biographical book of the same name by Raphaëlle Bacqué, created by Raphaëlle Bacqué and Isaure Pisani-Ferry (“Vampires Season 1”) and Jennifer Have (“Crimes haute couture”). It will focus on Karl Lagerfeld’s fashion career and love story.
Karl Lagerfeld (September 10, 1933-February 19, 2019), born in Hamburg, Germany, became the designer of the CHANEL brand in 1983 and made it one of the most profitable fashion brands in the world.
