Disney’s live-action film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” re-exposed casting dynamics, Andrew Burnap will play the film’s male lead

According to media reports, Disney’s live-action film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” once again exposed the casting dynamics, and selected Andrew Burnap as the film’s male lead.

But his role is not a prince or a hunter, but a newly created character.

Not long ago, the 29-year-old won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for “The Inheritance”.

And this time he was selected into the “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” crew, which is a jump from the theatrical stage to the movie screen.

Previously, it has been confirmed that Rachel Zegler will play the heroine Snow White and Gal Gadot will play the villain Queen of the Poison Apple. The film will be directed by Marc Webb.

“La La Land” and “The Greatest Showman” songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul will write new songs for it.

This live-action adaptation is based on the 1937 animated classic, Disney’s first animated feature “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.

The film mainly tells that Snow White is envied by her stepmother because of her beauty and vows to put her to death.

But Snow White was helped by warriors, forest birds and beasts, and the seven dwarfs, and escaped catastrophe after catastrophe, while her stepmother died under the cliff.

At present, the live-action version of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” is expected to be filmed in 2022, and there is no specific release schedule.
