D.J. Cotrona (‘From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series’) joins the Netflix reboot of the family action-comedy series ‘Untitled Spy Kids Reboot,’ reteaming with Robert Rodriguez, who as the original creator will direct, write and produce.

The new film follows the children of the world’s most powerful secret agents who inadvertently help a powerful game developer release a computer virus that allows him to control all technology, leading them to become agents themselves to save their parents and the world.
The original series has four parts, with a cumulative worldwide box office of over $550 million. The first film was released in 2001 and starred Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, Alexa Vega, Daryl Sabara and others.
It tells the story of Gregorio and Ingrid used to be the world’s best agents, working for a rival force, they fell in love during a mission, after anonymity and family.
Several years later the forces of evil force them back into the world, but unexpectedly the two were kidnapped, their children Carmen and Juni must overcome many difficulties to save their parents and the world.
