The drama version of ‘American Gigolo’ released a new official trailer for the Showtime opening on September 9.
‘American Gigolo’ is a remake of the 1980 film of the same name, starring Jon Bernthal and Gretchen Mol (‘Boardwalk Empire’), with Bernthal as a contemporary version of ‘American Gigolo’ -Julian Kaye, a downtrodden California sex industry worker.
Fifteen years ago, he was convicted of murder and sentenced to prison for the crime. Now reborn, he has to deal with his old love Michelle (Moore) relationship, take care of his mother in a lot of situations and find out who betrayed him back then, while the detective in the investigation of the murder of the past also involved in a larger conspiracy.
