The biopic “Elvis” directed by Baz Luhrmann (“Moulin Rouge”, “The Great Gatsby”) will make its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and will be released in North America on June 24.
Austin Butler plays legendary singer Elvis Presley and Tom Hanks plays his manager Colonel Tom Parker.
Olivia DeJonge, David Wenham, Luke Bracey, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Dacre Montgomery, Natasha Bassett and more also star.

Luhrmann and his wife Catherine Martin are producing, and they have been developing The Great Gatsby since 2013.
Written by Luhrmann and longtime partner Craig Pearce, it recounts the rise and heyday of Elvis Presley, and the film focuses on the more than 20-year relationship between Elvis Presley and Pearce.
