“Eternals” North American box office is not as good as expected

The Marvel superhero movie “Eternals” earned US$71 million at the box office in the first three days of the first weekend in North America. This performance was lower than the expected US$75 million.

The box office of “Eternals” was second to 90.03 million for “Venom 2”, 80.366 million for “Black Widow” and 75.389 million for “Shang-Chi” which opened in North America this year.

“Eternals”‘s word-of-mouth rush has seriously affected box office performance.
