Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba star in the fantasy romance ‘Three Thousand Years of Longing’, directed by George Miller (‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ ‘Happy Feet’) The film will be released in theaters on August 26.
‘Three Thousand Years of Longing’, which has premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, is set in Istanbul and revolves around a scholar (Swinton) and a genie (Elba) who helps the former grant three wishes in exchange for his freedom, and this hotel room encounter has unintended consequences.
