“Alien” continued, and 20th Century Pictures announced that it was working on a new “Untitled Alien: Covenant Sequel” film.
The new series is directed & written by “Don’t Breathe” director Federico Alvarez, with Ridley Scott serving as producer.
“Untitled Alien: Covenant Sequel” will be an original indie story, available on streaming Hulu.
Federico Alvarez, said to be a die-hard “Alien” fan, stumbled across an idea to Ridley Scott many years ago, and it’s been ingrained in Scott’s mind ever since.
Ridley Scott contacted Alvarez out of the blue last year to ask if he would like to film the idea, and he said yes.
